Candidate Scoring Team

Members of the CENSE candidate scoring team were selected based on knowledge of energy and environmental issues, experience in government and civic organizations, geographic diversity, and a range of political affiliations. We are grateful for the many hours they dedicated to this effort!

  • Don Marsh
    Don is the president and co-founder of CENSE.  He also serves on PSE’s Technical Advisory Group, assisting in development of the company’s long-range Integrated Resource Plan.  Don is a professional software engineer who has worked for Apple, IBM, Microsoft, and the University of Washington.  He has also played key roles in the success of four startup companies.
  • Jeanne DeMund
    Jeanne is the vice president of CENSE and a resident of Renton, where she serves on the Renton Airport Advisory Committee.  She has worked for the Washington State Office of Economic Development and the Port of Seattle.  Jeanne is currently Managing Director of an import distribution company.
  • Sue Stronk
    Sue is a retired interior designer living in Newcastle, where she is a neighborhood safety advocate and liaison with city staff and council members. Sue also serves on the executive boards of the Olympus Homeowners Association and CENSE.
  • Sam Esayian
    Sam is a 44-year resident of Bellevue. He worked as a public school teacher and then pursued a career in operations management for a commercial airline. In 1993, he co-founded an airline consulting group. Sam is a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Bellevue Rotary.
  • Mike Evered
    Mike served on the Bellevue City Council from 1979-1983. He and his family owned and operated the Bellevue Lincoln Mercury dealership for 44 years. Mike was elected president of the Bellevue Rotary in 1990, and has also served on the Bellevue Civil Service Commission, the Central Business District Action Committee, and the Board of Regents at Seattle University.
