Urge Hearing Examiner to say “NO” to Puget Sound Energy.
Its not too late to stop Energize Eastside!
On January 24th, the City of Bellevue released a Staff report recommending that the Hearing Examiner approve the permits for the South Bellevue segment of the project. The City Staff Report and attachments can be found here: City Staff report (PDF, 6.3MB, 151 pages).
Two important actions you can take:
1. Attend the Energize Eastside Public Hearing on March 28th at Bellevue City Hall
CENSE strongly encourages residents to attend the Public Hearing. It is important to have a strong public presence. If you cannot attend the hearing, you can still submit written comments to be considered by the Hearing Examiner. Click here for map and parking information.
If you are also interested in making an oral comment at the hearing, click here for tips and guidelines for making powerful oral comments.
2. E-mail your comments to the Hearing Examiner
It’s Easy with our Comment Writing Guide
CENSE strongly encourages residents to submit written comments to the Hearing Examiner prior to the Hearing or at the Hearing. These comments will become part of the legal record used to determine if PSE’s proposal is consistent with the City of Bellevue’s Land Use Codes. Even if you have submitted comments in the past, we urge you to also submit comments to the Hearing Examiner.
All written comments are valuable. The strongest comments describe how you, your property, or the City of Bellevue would be affected by the proposed transmission lines and poles.
